Vimos grandes mudan\u00e7as no comportamento do consumidor nos \u00faltimos anos. Embora a pandemia de covid-19 tenha alimentado grande parte dessa turbul\u00eancia inicialmente, acontecimentos socioecon\u00f4micos globais recentes e infla\u00e7\u00e3o impulsionaram algumas tend\u00eancias de consumo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vale lembrar que no Brasil, no m\u00eas de dezembro de 2022, o \u00edndice da infla\u00e7\u00e3o fechou em 5,79%, cifra mais elevada desde 2017 (com exce\u00e7\u00e3o de 2021, que viu o \u00edndice chegar a 10,06%), segundo o Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duas conclus\u00f5es importantes sobre este cen\u00e1rio surgiram de um recente relat\u00f3rio de pesquisa de mercado, \u201cConsumidores Reagem \u00e0 Infla\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, realizado pela companhia especializada em experi\u00eancia do cliente, a Medallia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo a companhia, ambos os aspectos se concentram em finan\u00e7as pessoais e ajudam a entender como a infla\u00e7\u00e3o vem afetando o dia a dia dos consumidores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para a Medallia, um fator em destaque \u00e9 que os consumidores est\u00e3o mais sens\u00edveis ao pre\u00e7o das coisas. Eles est\u00e3o cortando gastos como resultado disso. Mas, essas mudan\u00e7as foram desiguais entre as categorias de produtos, deixando alguns setores ainda mais vulner\u00e1veis a mudan\u00e7as no comportamento do consumidor do que outros. Vejamos a an\u00e1lise da Medallia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como a infla\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 moldando as tend\u00eancias de consumo<\/strong>
\u2013 O pre\u00e7o do produto \u00e9 agora o fator n\u00famero um que influencia os gastos das fam\u00edlias. Quase metade de todos os consumidores (49%) diz que o pre\u00e7o influenciou suas decis\u00f5es de compra nos \u00faltimos tr\u00eas meses, um aumento de 20 pontos percentuais em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos 29% dos consumidores que disseram o mesmo em agosto de 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Quase a metade dos consumidores (42%) dizem que est\u00e3o gerenciando os aumentos de pre\u00e7os passando a comprar menos produtos ou produtos mais baratos. Outros, em menor n\u00famero, recorrem \u00e0 busca de fontes adicionais de renda ou est\u00e3o recorrendo a poupan\u00e7as ou contraindo mais d\u00edvidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Os consumidores realizaram as maiores mudan\u00e7as de gastos nas categorias de produtos \u201cemocionais\u201d, incluindo viagens e entretenimento. Por outro lado, eles fizeram mudan\u00e7as m\u00ednimas em seus h\u00e1bitos de consumo nas categorias de produtos mais essenciais, como utens\u00edlios dom\u00e9sticos e gasolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 As transa\u00e7\u00f5es de consumidores em restaurantes e supermercados desaceleraram no primeiro semestre de 2022, depois de terem subido no final de 2021 em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os n\u00edveis da primavera de 2020. No entanto, como os pre\u00e7os aumentaram, o gasto total por transa\u00e7\u00e3o aumentou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Se o custo dos bens e servi\u00e7os aumentasse mais 5%, todos menos 3% dos consumidores dizem que o custo adicional afetaria suas futuras decis\u00f5es de compra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O impacto na experi\u00eancia do cliente deve ser administrado<\/strong>
